Walter Cecil Jackson
September 27, 1943 — October 2, 2021
Mr. Walter Cecil Jackson, 78, of Dalton passed away on October 2, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Jackson and Gladys Goswick Jackson; sisters, Claudine Caylor, Mary Dell Fowler and Louise Lowery; brothers, Claude Jackson Jr. and Willie Gene Jackson; daughter, Debra Stewart.
Walter is survived by his wife of 44 years, Berta Moore Jackson; daughter Rebecca (Jeffery) Dyer of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brett Dyer, Kyle Dyer and Hannah Jameson; great-grandchildren, Zayleigh Dyer, Jaxson Dyer, Coleson Dyer, Stylez Dyer, Aubrey Clonts and Ryker Jameson; sister, Louvinnie Jackson; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 pm from the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. William Billy Parker officiating.
Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #112.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 pm at Love Funeral Home.
