Mrs. Vernice Morine Parker Andrews, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025.
She was born on Monday, August 26, 1935, in Gordon County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Mckinley Columbus and Mrs. Alice Cleo Chastain Parker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Andrews; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Aslee and Kenneth Mathis, Selvia and Roy Swilling; her sister, Estelle Ponders; her brothers and sister-in-law, James Parker and Felton and Geneva Parker; and her brother-in-law, Wilburn Rice, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Daryl Eaton; her daughters, Beverly (Brad) Dixon and Janice (Raymond) Skidmore; her grandchildren, Matt (Shana) Eaton, Keshia (Johnathon) Densmore, Andres (Katie) Dixon, Hunter (Megan) Dixon, Savannah Dixon, Sierra (Parker) Joost, Shana Garner, Johnathan (Summer) Cole, and Garry Eaton. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Additionally, Vernice is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn (Paul) Porter, Wanda (Steve) Champion, Versell Rice, and Ruby (Quinn) Smith; her brother, Raymond (Diane) Parker; and her sister-in-law, Brenda Parker.
Funeral Services to celebrate and honor the life of Mrs. Vernice Morine Parker Andrews will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Phil Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest with her family at the Fairview Church of God in Ranger, Georgia.
Her family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
