He was preceded in death by his father, David Crockett Sr.
Van is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Crockett; brother, David Crockett Jr. (Janet); sister, Jerre Leonard (Mike); nephew, David Crockett III (Kristal); nieces, Stella and Emelia Crockett.
