Thomas Louin Wright, Sr.

Thomas Louin Wright, 90, of Dalton, GA passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

He was born in Dalton, Georgia to the late Mattie Lou and George Dewey Wright and was also preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne Franklin Wright. He was a long-time member of Dalton First United Methodist Church.

Tom is survived by his daughter Laura Bock (Chris); sons Tom Wright, Jr. (Wendy) of Atlanta, GA and Bobby Wright (Holly) of Eatonton, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Margaret Hart (Ryan), Cassidy Foskey (Wes), Garrett Wright, Rob Wright, Ashley Wright (fiancé Garrett Mallon) and Brendan Wright; his great-grandchildren Ron Hart, Blakely Foskey, Lily Hart and Wright Foskey; a niece, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 25th at Dalton First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in the Atrium of the church. Tom will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery.
