Sharon Lynn Manis

Sharon Lynn Manis, 69, of Tunnel Hill passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

She was born on March 11, 1957, to the late Jim and Geraldine Bush. Sharon was also preceded in death by her husband, William Garrett Manis; daughter; Jessica Manis; brother, Leslie Kersey.

Sharon was truly larger than life. She had quick wit, and a warm heart. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and family, whom she loved with all her heart.

Sharon didn't just raise her own family—she helped raise a village. She left a lasting impact on everyone, fortunate enough to know her.

She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. Her strength and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

She is survived by her children, Missy Hutcheson, Melvin Hutcheson (Tessa), Crystal Barber (Larry), Natasha Benjamin (Paul), and Billie Manis; grandchildren, Allayah Hutcheson, Nicholas Hutcheson, Trina Barber, Devyn Long (Jasmin Price), Gunner Benjamin, Gabriel Benjamin, Lourra Yarbrough, Michael Malone, and Leslie Callies; great-grandchildren, Cora Lashae Jan Long, Dalilah Nicole Mashburn, Theodore Yarbrough, and Wren Rivers; best friend, Geraldine Nelson.

Sharon will be interred at West Hill Cemetery.
