Sharon Elaine Kincaid Higdon

Mrs. Sharon Elaine Kincaid Higdon, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

She was born on Monday, May 13, 1946, in Copperhill, Tennessee, to the late Mr. Flavil Leland Kincaid and Mrs. Dorothy Sisson Kincaid.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sharon is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Tommy Gene Higdon, whom she married on Friday, July 3, 1964. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Deanna Wade; her brother, Barry Kincaid; and her grandson, Matthew Christopher.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Jennifer) Higdon, Matt (Lisa) Higdon, and Jeff (Buffey) Higdon; her grandchildren, Caleb Higdon, Nate Higdon, Benjamin Higdon, Chase Higdon, Creed Higdon, Nate Christopher, Tiffany Burns, Bristeyn Durham, Khenidi Pippin, and Landrhe Higdon; her great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Higdon, Bennett Higdon, Judson Burns, Caroline Burns, Emerson Christopher, Brooks Higdon, Ellie Higdon, Amelia Durham, Eli Durham, and Mary Grace Durham.

She is also survived by her sisters Clarice Whaley, Myra Pierce, and Jill Mattox.

Funeral services to celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Sharon Elaine Kincaid Higdon will be conducted on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. David Owens and Rev. Ricky Spence officiating. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Tommy following the service at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Sharon's family will receive friends for visitation at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friends are also invited with Mrs. Sharon's family on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
