Ruth Marie Coffman Crosby

Ms. Ruth Marie Coffman Crosby, affectionately known throughout her life to those who knew and loved her as 'Marie,' of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Marie was born on Monday, December 7, 1936, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Dr. Michael Rufus Coffman and the late Mrs. Ruth Ellis Coffman.

In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her son, Richard Michael Stull.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Stacey (Chris) Cecil.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Ruth's life will be conducted at a later date at Dalton First United Methodist Church.  Marie will be laid to rest at a later date beside her beloved son at the historic Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum in Birmingham, Alabama.
