Robert Grady Orr

Mr. Robert Grady Orr, lovingly known by all those who knew him as 'Grady,' age 87, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Grady was born on Friday, September 9, 1938, in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Mr. Altus Glenn Orr and the late Mrs. Eula Corina Wallace.

In addition to his parents, Grady is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Mrs. Jerrilee R. Kuh Orr.  He is also preceded in death by his three brothers and his two sisters, as well as his son, Jeffrey Gossage; his grandson, John Robert Clary; his granddaughter, Chyanne L. Weinert.

Grady is survived by his children: Gary (Anita) Orr, Cathy Orr, Gwen (Larry) Hawkins, Erika Thomas, Lequita (Ken) Weinert, John Gossage, Jim (Cindy) Gossage, Janet (Rune, dec.) Schelke, and Judy Richards.  He is further survived by his grandchildren: Misty, Jayme, Miranda, Erik, Amanda, Sam, Cody, Jim Jr., John, Jay, Kevin, Corey, Allerina, and Aiden, as well as his 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Grady's life will be conducted on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.

Grady's family will receive friends for visitation at Love Funeral Home on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 12:00 noon until the service hour.

The family kindly and humbly asks those who desire to send flowers to please send arrangements which they can take home and enjoy after the service (potted arrangements, cut flowers, etc.).
