Mr. Robert Jones, 85, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Stella Dockery Jones; mother, Linnie Ann Hunter; brothers and sister, Charles Hunter, William Hunter and Mildred Lands; uncle, John Smith.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Gloria and Danny Locke; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Adam Cox and family, Faith and Lane, Marc and Britney Cox and family, Anslea and Marci, Jonathan and Shazz Cox and family, Kaiden, Phoenix, Aspen, and Savannah; brother, Carl and Susan Hunter; sister, Virginia Stephenson; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Sneed officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 until 1:30.
