Reese Lee Powell

d. Oct 1, 2026

Our beloved daughter, Reese Lee Powell, was born into the arms of Jesus on October 1st, 2026, at 12:03 p.m. She will forever be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her parents, Mommy and Daddy, Macey and Cory Powell, along with our families who so eagerly awaited her arrival.

Though we never got to bring her home, Reese was with us for sixteen precious weeks, loved beyond words and already such a meaningful part of our lives. She was surrounded by so much love from family and friends who couldn’t wait to meet her, and she will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts.

Reese changed our lives in ways we will carry with us forever. She brought us dreams, hope, and a love we never knew could be so deep. From the moment we found out she was coming, we imagined all the memories we would make, the moments we would share, and the life we would build with her. Although our time with her was far too short, she will always be a part of our family.

We believe Reese was too precious for this world, our beautiful little angel now resting peacefully in heaven. You will forever be our daughter, our answered prayer, and a love that will never fade. Mommy and Daddy will carry you in our hearts every day until the day we can hold you again.

Her arrival brought us both the greatest love and the deepest heartbreak. This has been the hardest journey of our lives, filled with excitement, hope, and dreams for our future, followed by a loss we will never fully have the words to explain. We are learning to navigate a world without you in our arms, but you will always be part of us.

Reese Lee Powell, if love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. You were wanted, you were loved, and you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, our sweet girl. Forever Mommy and Daddy’s little angel.

Waiting to welcome Reese into Heaven was her precious sibling, Baby P, along with her great-grandparents, Doris Grant, Albert and Nancy Mann, Larry and Debbie Goulet, and Almon and Doris Powell.

Reese is survived by her parents, Macey and Cory Powell; siblings, Oaklen Powell and Wilder Hayes Powell; grandparents, Stacy and Tina Mann, Joe and Brandi Pruett, and Terry and Cathy Powell; great-grandfather, Ted Grant; aunts and uncles, Mason Mann, Zoey Talley, Lori Powell, and Melanie Powell; special aunt, Lynda Wilburn; great aunts and great uncles, Chad and Kristl Grant, Kevin and Tammy Lawhorn, Tanya and Ruben Queen, Misty and Jason Yancey, Jimmy and Marilyn Powell, and Peggy Lowrence; special friends, Katie and Trey Evans and Addison Queen.
