Preston Wayne McAtee, 22, of LaFayette passed away July 30, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Nabors; great-grandparents, Edward & Bertha Lee Thornton; grandparents, Louis & Fred Haney.
He is survived by his mom, Crystal (John) Spurgeon; siblings, Christon McAtee, Katerina McAtee, Raylan McPherson & Jaxon McPherson; father, Phillip McAtee; grandparents, Rita Thornton & George Roberts, Gail & Phillip McAtee; great-grandparents, Michael & Jerrie Edwards; step-grandmother, Carolyn Nabors; great-grandmother, Doris Nabors; aunt & uncle, Chris (Kim) Nabors & Beth Butcher; cousins, Caleb & Alexis Nabors & Abby & Valeka Butcher; many more cousins & special friends.
Preston loved his family, music, going to the lake, and was known for making his family laugh & feel protected.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 PM on Thursday.
