Norman Dyer Mccoy

Norman Dyer McCoy, 80, of Dalton, passed away at Hamilton Medical Center on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Casper McCoy; his parents, Bill Brode and Lucille Dyer McCoy; and, his sister, Caroline McCoy Powell.

Mr. McCoy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Meredith (Chris) Finley; his niece and her husband, Shannon (Tim) Britton; and his nephew and his wife, Kip (Cathy) Powell.

Mr. McCoy was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Dalton, and formerly owned Dalton Supply. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 901 West Emery Street, Dalton, GA 30720, or to one’s favorite charity.
