Marian Michalak

Mrs. Marian Michalak passed away at her home Sunday June 21, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Croy Painter  & Grady Painter; husband, John Michalak.

She is survived by her 4 children; Rodney Kirk of Lakeland,TN, Patti & Frank Cale of Dalton, Chip & Julie Kirk of Dalton & Jeff Kirk of Dalton; sisters, Vivian & Jack Freeman of Dalton, Clara & Ronald Lowrey of Dalton, Diane & Rob Dempsey of Dallas, GA; grandchildren include Rhonda Bengfort, Michael (Tasha) Faulkenberry, Tiffany (Shane) Keith, Stephanie (Derek) Dilbeck, Alan (Shannon) Kirk, Elizabeth (Bob) Caperton & Elaina Cale (Alex Beekman); 8 great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Michalak owned J & M Lanes for many years. She and her two sons Chip & Jeff were avid bowlers & bowled at tournaments in many different states. She was also a member of South Dalton Baptist Church & loved her church family very much. The family would like to thank her church family & her many friends that sent cards to our mother over the last year.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home and again prior to the service on Wednesday from 1 until 2.
