Lovella T. McClure

Mrs. Lovella Talley McClure, age 96, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Buford and Bessie Blankenship Talley. She was preceded in death by her husband J.W. McClure; sisters and brothers-in-law: Violet and Charles Penland, Ruth and R. L. Quinn and Reba Talley.

Lovella is survived by her daughter, Lynne McClure; Special nieces, nephews and their children: Trudy and Paul Bufford; Josh and Jessica Bufford, Nash and Marin; Betsy and Scott Brown, Kate and Amelia - all of Virginia; Julie and Benny Stiltner, Josiah, Ezra and Matthias of North Carolina. 

Mrs. McClure worked at Belk Department Store for 75 years before retiring at 90 years old. She loved her animals and spending time with her family.

 A service to celebrate the life of Lovella McClure will be held Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 12:00 pm. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Bufford officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
