Linda Bailey

Mrs. Mary Linda Cook Bailey, affectionately known throughout her life to those who knew and loved her as 'Linda,' went home to be with her mom and dad in Heaven on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Linda was born on Wednesday, June 9, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Mr. Russell Cook and the late Mrs. Julia Montgomery Cook.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mr. Michael Bailey, Sr.  She is further survived by her sons, Michael (Dawn) Bailey, Jr., and Mark (Daphne) Bailey; her grandchildren, Canzady (Hunter) Akins, Emma Bailey, Logan Bailey, Cheyenne Bailey, Reagan Bailey, and Luke Bailey; her great-grandchildren, Adelaide and Amelia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Linda's life will be conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Bailey officiating.  Linda will be laid to rest in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.  The family has asked Mr. Jody Buckner, Mr. Danny Wright, Mr. Logan Bailey, Mr. Hunter Akins, Mr. Lee Phillips, and Mr. Paul Hughes to serve as pallbearers.

Linda's family will receive friends for visitation at Love Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour.
