Linda Gail Ault Franks

Mrs. Linda Gail Ault Franks, age 78, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, April 3, 2026.

Linda Gail was born on Wednesday, May 14, 1947, to the late Mr. John Ault and Mrs. Ethel Ault.

To know Linda Gail was to love her.  She was a 1965 graduate of Dalton High School.  She was a devoted member of Crown View Baptist Church.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she could always be found cheering them on.  She was the best Mom and Nanny who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Linda Gail is preceded in death by her siblings: Larry Ault, Sonny Ault, Patsy Ault, Geraldine Price, and Trammell Ault.  She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Destin Groves.

Linda Gail is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mr. Horace David Franks.  She is further survived by her children: Kris (Danny) Groves, Tracie (Tim) Ellis, Jill (Cory) Rodgers.  Linda Gail is also survived by her grandchildren: Courtney (Matt) Baker, Baleigh Coley, Dylan Groves, Grace Hall, Jaxin Hall, JD Ellis, Beau Ellis, Addie Rodgers, and Clay Rodgers, as well as her great-grandchildren, Milly Long, Brayden Groves, Atlas Baker.

She is further survived by her sister, Delores Jones, and her sister-in-law, Ellen (Doug) Franks.

Services to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Gail Franks will be conducted on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor David Friend and Dr. Bruce Beach officiating.  She will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery.

Linda Gail's family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday at Love Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, Linda Gail's family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to Crown View Baptist Church.
