Larry Wayne McGlade

Larry Wayne McGlade passed away on August 25, 2026. He will be remembered as an extremely sweet and kind man whose presence brought warmth to those around him.

Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In his professional life, he worked at Northwest Carpet as executive sales manager, where he built a respected career. Beyond his work, he found great enjoyment in tennis and was an avid player. He won several trophies with the Dalton Golf and Country Club, an achievement that brought him well-earned pride.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark McGlade.

Larry is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Alexander McGlade; daughter, Colleen Chisnell (Corey); stepchildren, Hayes Chandler (Allen), Bill Dwyer Jr. (Bonnie), Anne Holtzclaw (Shawn), Ashley Lewis (Terence), and Ali Sharp (Robbie); grandchildren, Conner, Caroline, Anna, Luke (Cara), Jon Pawl, Nathan (Courtney), Katie, Samuel, Grady, Skylar, Carson (Will), and Cameron (Josh); several great-grandchildren; sister, Judy McCurdy; niece, Sara.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on August 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow there at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bret Yaeger officiating. Larry will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 112.
