Karen 'Kay' Dianne Mullinax Motto

Mrs. Karen 'Kay' Dianne Mullinax Motto, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, after a long and courageous battle following complications from a liver transplant.

Kay was born on Thursday, August 10, 1961, in Dalton, Georgia, to Mr. Walter Leon Mullinax and Mrs. Easter Inez Beavers Mullinax, both of whom survive her.

In addition to her parents, Kay is survived by her husband, Mr. Paul Gerard Motto.  

Kay is also survived by her special aunt and caregiver, Mrs. Debbie (David) Pearson, whose hand she held onto up until her last and final moment on this earth.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Kay's life will be conducted at a later date.  Service days and times will be announced by Love Funeral Home.
