Judy Shook Moore

Mrs. Judy Shook Moore, age 64, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025.

Judy was born on Monday, January 16, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Mr. James Phillip Shook and Mrs. Betty Anne Chastain Shook.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Shook, and her son, Renis Brooks Young Murphy.

Judy is survived by her husband, Justin Matthew Moore; her son, James Travis 'Chuck' (Rebecca) Murphy; her step-daughter, Liliana Paige Moore; her brother, Richard Renis 'Spud' Shook; and her sister-in-law, Carrie Moore.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler Brooks Murphy, Serena Ruth Gilbride, and Sawyer Knox Malone.

Per Judy's wishes that she expressed during her lifetime, no formal services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Judy's family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Murray County Humane Society (12097 Hwy 225 N, Crandall, GA 30711), where she enjoyed volunteering her time (link below).
