Joseph L. "J.L." Brown

Mr. Joseph L. “J.L.” Brown, 85, of Dalton went to meet the Lord Saturday, October 19, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Sue Brown; mother, Ella Mae Brown and father, Joe Brown; sisters, Lillie Mae Dale and Nellie Jo Quarles; brothers, C.L. “Boat” Brown, R.B. “Shorty” Brown, Joseph Eugene “Buster” Brown and Leonard Brown.

J.L. is survived by his daughter, Deborah Brown and son, William David Brown; step-daughter, Tammy Moser and step-son, David Moser; sister, Nora Ensley; 11 grandkids; 6 great-grandkids; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Donald Shipman officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m.
