Johnnie Lee Sims

Johnnie Lee Sims, 83, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sims; mom, Rosa Lee Bryson; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Johnnie was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed flowers, creating arrangements and crafts. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Rick and Rita Sims and Kay Owens; grandchildren, Jessica and Aaron Truelove; great-grandchildren, Rosalee and Lily Truelove; step grandchildren, Josh and Casey Jones, Dustin and Lauren Jones, Blake and Joslyn Jones; 8 step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 until 2 PM. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
