Jeffery Alan 'Jeff' Blackburn

Mr. Jeffery Alan 'Jeff' Blackburn, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Jeff was born on Saturday, August 30, 1958, in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Mr. W.H. 'Billy' Blackburn, Jr., and the late Mrs. Bernese Shoemaker Blackburn.

Jeff was born and raised and spent his life in Dalton, Georgia.  He was a proud graduate of Dalton High School.  Like so many Daltonians before him, Jeff spent his career working in Dalton's textile industry.  He retired from Marketing Alliance Group.  He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and he loved working in his yard, especially growing and tending to his tomatoes.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by two of his four brothers, Johnny Blackburn and Jerome Blackburn.

Jeff is survived by his brother, James David (Debra) Blackburn; his brother, Joel (Kaye) Blackburn; and his sister, Joan Berna' Blackburn.  Jeff is further survived by his nieces and nephews, his great nieces and great nephews, and his great-great nieces and great-great nephews.  He is also survived by his special family member, Tina B.

Jeff's family wishes to extend their special and heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Hamilton Medical Center and Hamilton Hospice, as well as the City of Dalton Fire Department first responders and their Emergency Medical Services team.

Graveside services to honor and celebrate Jeff's life will be conducted on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.  His family will lay him to rest in the cemetery upon conclusion of the service.
