James Eugene Osborne

Mr. James Eugene Osborne, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

He was born on Monday, February 14, 1944, in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Mr. J.A. Osborne and the late Mrs. Annie Mae Bramlett Osborne.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane Boyd.

He is survived by his loving wife, Fredda Bulger Osborne; his son, Alan (Lynn) Osborne; his stepson, Brian (Tara) Bulger; and his stepdaughter, Erin Hurt.

James is further survived by his grandchildren, Mary Grace and Callie Osborne, Hannon and Ryann Bulger, Trey (Savannah) Hurt, and Nicholas Hurt.  He is also survived by his great-grandson, Elliott Hurt.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate James's life will be conducted on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with members of his family sharing eulogies and memories.  James will be laid to rest at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

His family will receive friends for visitation on Monday prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
