James "Ed" Edward Hall

James Edward Hall “Ed”, 84, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

He was the son of the late Jim Hall and Helen Ellis and was also preceded in death by his son, James Hall, Jr. and daughter, Debra Ann Hall.

Ed was a supporter of Murray County High School football and was the school’s first All State and Region football player. He was the former superintendent of the Chief Vann House and loved his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Pat Hall; daughter, Sandra and David Brown; son, Greg and Donna Hall; grandchildren, Christopher and Tessa Williams.

Ed will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hamilton Hospice or to Central Church of Christ.
