Harold Gordon "Pete" Sweenie Jr.

Harold Gordon “Pete” Sweenie Jr., 61, of Atlanta (formerly of Dalton) passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home. Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Jane Sweenie.

He is survived by his life partner of 34 years, Gerald Crowder and special friend Michael Turnipseed, as well as his siblings Lisa Murr (Dave) of Bracey VA, Bill Sweenie (MaryLou) of Chattanooga, TN, Mehgan Wofford (Derek) of Rocky Face, GA and Andy Sweenie of Summerville, SC.

Pete attended Dalton High School and Landmark School and spent his life working with his hands and always trying to help others. As per the families request there will be no public service. Please remember Pete with a donation in his honor to your local Humane Society or the ASPCA.
