Gerald Elder

Gerald Elder, 63, of Tunnel Hill passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Bill Baggett and his grandparents, Lee and Bernice Lewis.

Gerald was the kind of person who loved his family more than anything. His faith was a big part of who he was — he loved God and loved going to church. When he wasn’t with family, you could probably find him out hunting or fishing, enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Elder; sons, Josh Elder (Kassie) and Kelby Elder (Skylin); grandchildren, Atlas and Emmaline Elder and Morgan and Matthew Denton; brothers and sisters, Alan Elder (Vicky), Kim Gordon, April Baggett, Greg Elder, Phil Elder, and Mike Elder; many other loving family members.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1 until 3. Gerald will be laid to rest in Dunagan Cemetery.
