September 20, 1938 — June 8, 2025

Emily Earle Parham, 86, passed away peacefully in Dalton, Georgia on June 8, 2025. Emily Earle was born in LaGrange, Georgia and raised in nearby Hogansville. She was the daughter of Jesse Sherwood Jones and Clifford Wilkinson Jones.

While attending first grade in 1945, Emily Earle met her future husband Charles Lee Parham on the playground of Hogansville Elementary School. After graduating from Hogansville High School together in 1956, Emily Earle went on to Auburn University. She graduated in 1960 and became a schoolteacher in Atlanta. She also became a lifelong Braves fan.

Emily Earle married Charles in 1963 while he was serving as an officer in the United States Navy. Sadly, Charles passed away in 2008 at the age of 69.

Emily Earle Parham is survived by her daughter Laura Parham Herrick and son-in-law John F.
