Dorothy Hackney Hammontree
April 7, 1925 — July 22, 2020
Dorothy Hackney Hammontree, 95, of Varnell passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hammontree; great-granddaughter, Lauren Tucker; parents and several siblings.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert Hammontree, Betty Floyd, David Hammontree (Phyllis), Donnie Hammontree (Laura) and Debra Roach (Danny); 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Fowler; brother, Winfred Hackney.
A private funeral service will be held for family on Saturday.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Varnell Baptist Church, P.O. Box 160, Varnell, GA 30756.
