Doris Jones Koger, 66, of Dalton passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her father Cecil Jones and her sister Brenda Maxwell.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Walkey (Randall) of Dalton, Kelly Koger (Laura) of Dalton and Tiffany Newberry of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Richard Walkey (Zoie), Ethan Walkey and Mackenzie Koger; great-granddaughter, Alexandria Walkey; mother, Emaleen Jones; sisters, Janice, Alma, Loretta, Lorene and April; brothers, Randy, Rocky and Anthony; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Northwest Georgia Hematology and Oncology and Dori’s special friend, Maria Thomas.
At Doris’s request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sassy’s Hope,PO Box 792Dalton, GA 30722.
