Betty Beal Edwards, 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
Betty was a business owner and hairdresser in Oak Ridge, TN for most of her life. Her husband of 71 years, William M. “Bill” Edwards was a Dalton High graduate of 1947 and helped prevent accidents in Oak Ridge for the Atomic Energy Commission. Betty was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, William M. “Bill” Edwards; sons, William M. Edwards, Jr. and John M. and Kathy Edwards; grandchildren, Katherine and Jonathan Walls; great-grandchildren, John Henry, Marilu and Katherine Grace Walls.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Friday in West Hill Cemetery.
