Betty Gravley Dyer
February 28, 1936 — March 3, 2026
Betty Gravley Dyer, 90, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and JW Gravley Sr.; husband, Otis Dyer; brother, JW “Chub” Gravley Jr.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Dyer Meaux; grandchildren, Shana and Patrick Boyle and Shane and Felicia Meaux; great-grandchildren, Drew Gomillion, Harris Gomillion, Landon Meaux, Mady Meaux, Lela Meaux, and Ophelia Meaux; siblings, Katherine Bigham and Wilbur Gravley. Betty also had two cherished dogs, Lucy and Peanut.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 until 9 PM at the funeral Home. Betty will be laid to rest in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
