Berta "Bertie" Jackson

Berta “Bertie” Jackson, 84, of Dalton passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late, Sam and Mollie Moore and was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jackson, daughter, Debra Stewart and brothers and sisters.

Bertie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca “Becky” Dyer (Jeff); grandchildren, Brett Dyer (Kelsey), Kyle Dyer (Montana), and Hannah Jameson; great-grandchildren, Zayleigh Dyer, Jaxson Dyer, Coleson Dyer, Stylez Dyer, Aubrey Clontz, and Ryker Jameson; sisters, Carolyn VanWinkle and Bonnie VanWinkle (Cecil); nieces and nephews; beloved church family.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with pastor William Linn officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Bertie will be laid to rest in United Memorial Gardens.
