Anita “Faye” Wooten, 75, of Dalton passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.V. and Ruby Wooten; sister, Carolyn Nelson; brothers, Clinton Wooten, and Robert “Bud” Wooten; nephew, Jimmy Bryson.
Faye loved watching gameshows and races. She found joy in sports, especially if they involved the Georgia Bulldogs or the Braves.
She is survived by her sister, Janie Townsend; niece and nephew, Anita “Cricket” Dockery and Michael Tyree; great niece and nephews; special friend, Monroe Peltcher.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 until 1. Faye will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery.
