John Lawson

Rev. John “Mickey” Lawson, 62, of Ringgold, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lawson, Sr. in 2005; brother, Kenny Lawson in 1980 and great-grandson, Kaibren Lawson.
John loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Terri and Alan Davenport and Keisha NaCole Lawson all of Dalton; mother, Ynett Cox Lawson of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Lawson, Jr. and Sandra of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Marissa Bates, Terry C. Bates and Leslie Bates; great-grandchildren, Madilyn Richards, Lexi Richards and Graceland Kinsey; niece and nephew, Bridget Reed and Chip Lawson.
Services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Watts officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M.
