Elva Lee Davis

Mrs. Elva Lee Davis, 80, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late, John Rankin and Julia Rankin Crider and was preceded in death by her husband, Trammell R. Davis, Sr. and a son Robert Davis.
For over fifty years Elva was co-owner of Davis Jewelry Company of Downtown Dalton.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Trammel (Nancy) Davis, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO., Carol (Marion) Putnam of Ringgold, Mark (Tina) Davis of Austin, TX. Terry (Judith) Davis of Dalton, Donna Braud of Dalton and David (Joy) Davis of McKinney, TX. ; 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Sunday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 6 to 8 P.M.
