Lona Gordon

Mrs. Lona Gordon, 91, of Dalton, departed this life on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Jess and Jessie Teasley and was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Gordon; sisters, Pearl Simpson, Frances Beal and Beulah Gribble; brothers, Bradford Teasley, George Teasley, Claude Teasley, Alvin Teasley and Troy Teasley; sons-in-law, Jerry McCurdy and Lamar Pierce; granddaughters, Tammy Rittenhouse, Pamela Gordon and Amanda Gordon; great-grandson, Carden Sampson.
Lona is survived by her children and their spouses, Vernon and Norma Gordon, Sue and Howard Dockery, Harlon Gordon, Ralph and Martha Gordon, Ronald and Bernice Gordon, Wanda McCurdy, Connie and Clarence Bean, Frank Gordon, Bruce and Edna Gordon all of Dalton, Doyle and Margarette Gordon, Ruth and J.C. Rittenhouse, Nelson and Marie Richardson all of Tunnel Hill, Teresa and Stanley Graham of Madison,GA.; sister, Tyrene Epperson; brother, Tasker Teasley; 43 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Lona Gordon will be Friday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Hare officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 9 P.M.
