Samuel Henderson

Mr. Samuel A. Henderson, 88, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010.
He was the son of the late, William and Viola Henderson and was preceded in death by his brothers, Luther Henderson, Truman Henderson, Herman Henderson and Rufus Henderson; sisters, Clyde Henderson, Minta Henderson, Clemmie Whittle, Ruby King, Mattie Schneider and Sue Holland.
Sam was a veteran of W. W. ll having served in the European Theatre.
He is survived by his daughter, Yvette Lough and grandson, Sam Lough both of McClenny, FL; sister-in-law, Iva Newsom of Escore, MI; niece and caregiver, Marlene Schneider of Rocky Face; other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 4 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Benny Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 3 to 4.
