Lester Putnam

Mr. Lester Putnam, 71, of Cohutta, passed away Monday April 12, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Oscar and Mary Jane Lewis Putnam and was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Holcomb and Betty Sue Hasty; brother, Bill Putnam.
Lester is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Charlotte Bunch Putnam of Cohutta; daughter and sons-in-law, Debbie and Daymon Duckett of Dalton, Tammy and Mike Houston of Rocky Face; son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Amie Putnam of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Colby (Missy) Duckett, Austin Duckett, Iris Putnam, Asa Putnam, Jack Houston, Sydney Houston and Carter Houston; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M.
