Clayton Phillips

Mr. Clayton Edward Phillips, 78, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Redmond Regional Hospital in Rome.

He was the son of the late Erskin and Cora Haas Phillips and was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Phillips and Raymond Phillips.

Clayton is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Bertie “Jean” Russell Phillips of Dalton; children, Mark Johnson, Frank Perkins and Bobby Phillips of Dalton, Robin (Marty) Oglesby of Ringgold, Jesse Lee, Billy Lee and Mike Lee of Dalton, Tina Foshee of Chattanooga and Kimberly Rhoden of Alabama; sister, Nancy Noblitt of Dalton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Services for Clayton will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Swamp Creek cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 at Love Funeral Home.
