Mr. Robert W. O’Brien, SR, 66 of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert O’Brien; mother, Julia Brunner Sunling; sister, Judy Brock.
Robert was involved with the Pioneer Little League and was retired from the City of Columbus.
He is survived by his brother, William “Bill” O’Brien of Georgia; children, Robert W. O’Brien, JR and Karen of Pennsylvania, Holly Bennett of Georgia, and Kelly and Olivia O’Brien of Dalton; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Prostate Cancer Research Center at https://pcri.org.
The family will receive friends at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday from 6 until 8 PM.
