Stanley Gardiner

Mr. Stanley P. Gardiner, 80, of Dalton passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Julia and Stanley Gardiner.

Stanley was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church and The Shriners and was a member and once exalted ruler of the Dalton Elks Lodge. He retired from the Carpet Industry after 55 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Gardiner; children and their spouses, Nancy Sanders and her husband Kevin, Kimberly Crews and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Katie Sanders, John Crews and Kara Crews Cart and her husband Jeffrey.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Carson and his staff and to the nurses and staff of Hamilton Medical Center for their care and compassion.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Flowers are asked to be omitted and memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 3380 Chastain Meadows Parkway, Suite 200, Kennesaw, GA. 30144. Please note that the memorial is for Dalton, GA and in memory of Stanley Gardiner.
