John Willard Johnson

Mr. John Willard Johnson, 90, of Rocky Face passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was the son of the late Will and Nancy Jane Johnson and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Card Johnson; infant daughter, Deloris Ann Johnson; son, Gary Johnson; brothers, Jr. Johnson and Millard Johnson. John was a World War II Veteran and served in the Army Air Corp. He was an active member of “The Club” RossWoods Adult Day Services. He was a member of McKee Chapel Methodist Church in Dawsonville, Ga. John is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jenny Johnson of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Joseph and Brittany Johnson of Dawnville, Storm and Jeff Beshears of Riceville, TN, Keith and Angel Findley of Jasper, TN, and Michelle Eggleston of Dalton; 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Sven Mossinger officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 112. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
