Selva Ann Cox Cochran

Mrs. Selva Ann Cox Cochran, 81, of Tunnel Hill passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Bonnie Gowin Cox and was preceded in death by her daughter, Carole McNeese, brother, Leon Cox and sister, Edna Duvall. Selva started playing music in church at the age of six; she played piano and organ for Morningside Baptist Church, East Morris Church of God, Ringgold Church of God, First Assembly of God and Christian Fellowship Assembly of God. She was a founding member of Christ Fellowship Assembly of God. She loved gardening. Selva is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Odell Cochran of the residence; children and their spouses, Hubert Odell Cochran, JR. and Janet of Tunnel Hill, Crystal Buena Hocker and Dan of Tunnel Hill and Harold Lane Cochran and Renetta of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Perry and Doris Cox of Rocky Face; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Hocker and Pastor Clinton Duke officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
