William Denny Tallent

Mr. William Denny Tallent, 71, of Dalton passed away September 13, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.G. Tallent and Lois Wells Tallent.

Denny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Tallent of Tunnel Hill; daughters and son-in-law, Lori Tallent Shepard of Little Rock, AR and Meredith Tallent Kocher and Chip Kocher of Paden City, WV; grandchildren, William Roby Tallent, Cole Kocher, Peyton Kocher, and Lauren Shepard; step-children, Larry and Lisa Wells of Tunnel Hill and Teresa and Kelly Brackett of Calhoun; step-grandchildren, Kirsten Wells, Dustin Brackett, and Stephanie Brackett Schmouder; 4 great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Denny will be held Saturday at 3 PM at United Memorial Gardens with the Rev. William Oogie Roberts and the Rev. David J. Ray officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 7 at Love Funeral Home.
