Barbara Bradford

Mrs. Barbara King Bradford, 71, of Dalton passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late J.D. and Maude King and was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Bradford and brother, Jimmy King.

Barbara was a 1963 graduate of Dalton High School and a graduate of Dalton State College, where she earned her LPN license in the nursing program. She was working for Whitfield County.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Bradford of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, David and Stephanie Bradford of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Hunter Bradford of Chattanooga and Shawn Bailey of Dalton; sister, Judy Gathoff of AL; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friend from 12 until 2 PM on Friday at Love Funeral Home.

A private family graveside service will be held for Barbara at Whitfield Memorial Gardens immediately following the visitation.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 519 East 4th St. Chattanooga, TN 37403 or to the American Cancer Society, 200 West Emery St., Suite 3, Dalton, GA 30720.
