Clifford Edward Maney

Mr. Clifford Edward Maney, 87, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was the son of Clifford C. and Nellie Maney and was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. Clifford was a member of Crown View Baptist Church and was a retired Chief of the Dalton Fire Department. He was also a member of the Dalton Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Helen Broome Maney; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Teresa Maney of Dalton and Gary and Tammy Maney of Cohutta; brothers and sister-in-law, Jackie and Faye Maney of Chatsworth and Tommy Maney of Alexandria, TN; sister, Annette Williams of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Melissa Maney Voiles, Heather Maney, Jenna Maney Murray, and Tyler Maney; great-grandchildren, Helena, Mollie, Jacob, Maycie, Kenzie, Edward, and Callie; nieces, nephews and many special friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Jacob Cantrell and the nursing staff at Erlanger Medical Center. Funeral services for Clifford will be held at 3 PM on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. David Friend and the Rev. Larry Wood officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11 AM until 3 PM. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Michael J.
