Mary Lynn Hardin Peden

Mrs. Mary Lynn Hardin Peden, 77, of Resaca and formerly of Dalton passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.

She was born in Murray County January 28, 1940 to the late Bill and Ollie Stafford Hardin. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Hardin and Ray Hardin and the father of her children, Tom Peden.

Lynn loved to be outdoors, working in her yard, planting flowers and listening to the birds sing.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Anthony Smith of Nickelsville; sons, Kenny Peden of Calhoun and Tim Peden of Resaca; grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Holly Smith and Dina Gonsalves; great-grandchild, Carter Gonsalves; special niece, Sharon Hardin Bates; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cohutta, GA.
