Louise Edmond Holmes

Mrs. Louise Edmond Holmes, 86, of Resaca passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her daughter Wanda Holmes Grant. Louise was a beautician and homemaker. She was extremely creative and enjoyed quilting, painting, writing and sewing. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Herbert Holmes of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Dawn Patterson and Lasonja and Richard Holcomb all of Resaca; sisters, Myra Lee Padgett of Jasper, Ga and Nell Heath of Tucker, Ga; grandchildren, Chad Mullinax, Cameron Patterson, Lindsey Patterson, Paxton Holcomb and Zoe Holcomb; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2 PM on Friday at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with the Rev. J.R. Holcomb officiating. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 until 8 PM.
