Mr. Wayne Cochran, 75, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his residence after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was the son of the late Joe B. and Besie Owen Cochran, Sr., and was preceded in death by his brother, Randolph William Cochran. Wayne is survived by his daughters, Melody Cochran of Dalton and Dana Cochran of Dalton; grandson, Dustin Cochran of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jureda Mann, Melba and Jack Dodson, and Wanda Binson all of Dalton, Kathleen Clay, Gwen and Ernie Gregory, and Jeanette Pitzer all of Nashville, and Rilla and David Burnet of Calhoun, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.B. and Janie Cochran of Dalton, Lamar and Bonnie Cochran of Calhoun and Jerry and Linda Cochran of Missouri. Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Friday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Chaplain Dwight Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Cove Methodist Cemetery.
