Linda Howard

Mrs. Linda Sue Jones Howard, age 65 of Ooltewah, TN and formerly of Dalton, passed from this life on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the University of Knoxville Hospital. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Hazel Jones and brothers, Wilburn and James Jones. Linda is survived by her best friend and companion Jimmy Tipton of Ooltewah, TN and Evelyn Rowland of Etowah. She is also survived by daughters and son in law; Wendy and Stephen Bachard of Ringgold, Angela Howard of Atlanta and son, George Junior Howard of Chatsworth. Grandchildren Chanda and Ashtyn Bachard of Ringgold; Marcus and Elijah Howard of Atlanta. Survivors also include brothers and sister-in-law Jerry and Dot Jones of Chatsworth, and Buck Jones of Dalton, sisters and brothers in law Audrey and David Huffines, Kathy and Wayne Smith all of Chatsworth, Phyllis and Jimmy Millsaps of Tunnel Hill, and Rachel and Dennis Hayes of Rocky Face.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Zion Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday at Love Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m.
